Decompiling
Film
Now,
to do the computer work. Put your movie onto your computer. You now
need to decompile it.
Decompile means take apart, and to take something apart you need a
tool. So, go to this neat website called Virtualdub.org
and get the VirtualDub tool from his downloads page.
Once
you have the Virtual Dub program unzipped into the place you decided to
put it (you just unzip the file, no installation required), start the
program and open your movie.

After
you open you video, you have to export it as an image sequence. Doing
this lets you edit your movie using any photo editor you want to
use.

Use
the default settings for everything except you will probably want to
change where the program saves the image sequence to.
