My wife
and I have have been married since 1984, and we have four children. My
family and I live on a small farm where we have a menagerie
of animals that have included cats, dogs,
horses, cows, chickens, ducks, pigs...and others that I have probably
forgotten. Currently we raise our own beef, keep chickens and ducks for
their eggs, have one horse, and a huge garden.
I can trace my family history on my
father's side back to the mid-1600s. We are of English descent,
and the first Straw was born on the North American continent on August
13, 1692.
You can see my ancestors against the backdrop of American history
